A loan of $200 helped to buy agricultural supplies like seeds, insecticides, and manure, among other things..

Hugo Ernesto's story

Hugo is a hard-working, kind, and responsible person. He lives with his wife and their two daughters, ages seven and one.

He has been a farmer for several years; he grows corn and beans. Also, when it is not harvesting time he buys and sells wood. With the sales from his harvest and from the wood he manages to cover the household expenses and his family’s other basic expenses.

Hugo is requesting a loan that will allow him to buy agricultural supplies like seeds, insecticides, and manure, among other things. He will also use the loan to be able to rent the land, which is shown in the photograph, where he grows his crops. This way he will be able to get better income in order to give his family better financial stability.
