A loan of $600 helped to keep up the rooms she rents.

Liz's story

Liz, 31, is married but lives in her parents' house because she has another goal for her own plot of land. Liz's job is renting rooms, so on her property she has set up four rooms for daily, weekly, or monthly rental at reasonable rates. To construct these rooms she had the support of her father and her husband, who generously help her.

She has only one month of experience in this work because previously she sold chickens. Demand for that product has decreased, however, so she decided to change fields. Now she's in the middle of refurbishing some of the rooms and soon she'll be painting them so they look better. In spite of that she already has customers who are waiting for rooms.

Currently she'll request 1500 soles [PEN]. She's grateful to those who make it possible for her to get this loan because with it she'll feel more certain of getting ahead with her job. She also promises to make her payments punctually.

With the requested amount she'll buy netting to cover the windows of the rooms she rents and she'll fit an additional room with everything necessary to rent it.
