Roger's story

Roger, 47 years old, is married to Elita and lives with her and their three children in their own house. Roger makes a living preparing and selling regional foods. His business is located in front of his home in a very busy zone, which guarantees him customers. Roger has a table and the necessary utensils to serve his customers. At first, he worked alone, but now he has the help of two other employees. Roger has been working in this business for five years and it has gone very well for him.

Roger is very happy with his business because he enjoys cooking, a skill he learned from his mother. He hopes the secrets she taught him will earn him a good reputation and loyal customers. Roger plans to expand his business in the future: to open a bigger restaurant in the shopping district of his city.

Roger is requesting a loan of 800 Peruvian soles in order to keep working toward his goals. He will invest this loan to buy ingredients such as rice, potato, oil, condiments, and vegetables.
