A loan of $775 helped to buy special products to help her pepper plants grow.

Karol Ninoska's story

Karol is a 32-year-old young woman. She is very hardworking and entrepreneurial. She is not married and has a high-school education from Perito Mercantil y Contador Publico. Karol lives with her stepfather, mother, and her siblings. Since she was young, her parents have supported her studies and taught her how to grow pepper and other basic plants such as corn, beans, and coffee.

Currently, she works alongside her family growing pepper. For the last six years, this has been a profitable business for Karol. She sells her plants in neighboring towns and through some private institutions that offer her the support necessary to market her plants. She grows these plants 50 meters away from her house, so she is able to give them lots of attention.

Karol is requesting this loan in order to buy products that will help her pepper plants grow. Pepper is a delicate crop and she hopes to keep hers healthy. Karol's goal is to take good care of her crops so that they are plentiful and healthy come harvest time in August and September. She hopes to be able to support her family just as they have always supported her.
