A loan of $250 helped to buy a sack of corn and eight hundred-pound bags of fertilizer.

Maximiliano's story

Maximiliano is 45 years old. He is married and has three children. Since his youth, he has made a living doing farm work: growing corn, beans, and vegetables. Maximiliano's parents taught him how to grow these crops. He buys the supplies he uses in the city, 35 kilometers (two-and-a-half hours) away. Maximiliano is requesting this loan from Fundacion Campo in order to buy a sack of corn and eight hundred-pound bags of fertilizer. With this investment, he will purchase all of his supplies at once, saving himself the time and travel expenses of making multiple journeys. This loan will also let him plant all of his crops at the best time to do so. Maximiliano's goal is to provide his children with an education, buy more land, and cultivate more crops since the area he lives in is very fertile.
