Le groupement ALOGOJESUTON 9 est composé de vingt neuf personnes qui résident dans le même quartier. C'est la première fois que ce groupement sollicite l'aide financier de ALIDé, afin d'élever le niveau de leur activité. La représentante de ce groupement, du nom de Laure est celle qui a la main levée sur la photo. Laure est âgée de 45 ans et est une veuve. Laure est mère d'un enfant qui est scolarisé et à sa charge. Laure vit seule avec son enfant. Pour faire face à ses divers besoins, Laure mène comme activité, la vente de tissus et divers produits de façon ambulante. Laure s’approvisionne dans un marché du Bénin. Dans la quête de la satisfaction de sa clientèle et pour accroître son chiffre d’affaire et son revenu, Laure sollicite ensemble avec les autres membres du groupement ALOGOJESUTON 9, un premier crédit auprès de ALIDé.

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000. This means that some Kiva lenders may receive their repayments late. However, Alidé remains a healthy institution in good standing with its creditors, and Kiva would like to continue working to support its clients.
