A loan of $800 helped to purchase seeds, urea, herbicides and fertilizers.

Arquimides David's story

Arquimides is 25 years old, single and doesn't have children. He lives with his parents in Chillanes, province of Bolivar. He is part of the Virgen de Baño community bank in the community of Sara de Cerritos, 30 minutes from the co-op's office. Arquimides makes a living growing beans and blackberries, and also raises livestock. He is requesting the loan to purchase seeds, urea, herbicides and fertilizers that he needs for his crops. He will make the purchases in Chillanes. His dream is to have his own land to harvest. The challenges he faces is the presence of plagues and sicknesses in his crops. In his free time he likes sports and community festivals.
