A loan of $125 helped to buy cosmetics.

Savi's story

Savi is 34 years old, married and has 2 children. She lives with her whole family in the house they built for themselves with much effort. Savi makes a living selling beauty products such as perfumes, powders, and facial creams, among others. She buys these from catalogs and then distributes them among her friends, family and other acquaintances. Often she is paid in cash, but she also offers credit, giving a 30 day term to pay. She has achieved good results and through this course she meets many people that soon convert into regular customers.

Savi has worked in this business for close to 5 years, and has always worked alone. What she likes about her business is that she can manage her free time in order to dedicate it to her children. In addition, the income she generates helps her support her spouse to pay the household expenses. On the contrary, she comments that it inconveniences her when her customers are late in their credit payments, but this does not discourage her. She plans to keep working in this business as she feels good and comfortable with it, and it gives her the independence that she needs.

On this opportunity, Savi is asking for a loan of 300 Peruvian Nuevos Soles to buy perfumes, powders, facial creams and lip pencils to offer to her customers.
