Milly is married with two children, and one of her children goes to school. She doesn’t take care of additional family members. She has business running a pub, and she has been in this business for six years. She has applied for a loan of Uganda shillings from MCDT SACCO to buy more crates of beer, soda, boxes of mineral water and jerrycans of local gin.
Milly works seven days out of every week in a shop that she rents. Her major business challenges include defaulters, thieves and seasonality. She aspires to own a fully stocked pub and also to build her own house. She resides in a rented house and the family has no access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses include rent and school fees.
