A loan of $500 helped a member to purchase eggs and some charcoal.

Finanfa Group's story

The group FINANFA comprises two persons who live together. The group's representative, Rosaline, is the one in the photo with her hand raised. She is 30 years old and married to a man named Dohou. The couple have two children, of whom one is in school; both are in their care. The couple live together and jointly ensure that the different household expenses are covered.

Rosaline did not attend school. For twenty years, she has had a business selling trays of eggs and charcoal out of her home. This enables her to respond to family needs without much difficulty. She gets her supplies from a market in Benin.

Concerned about responding better to the requirements of her customers, Rosaline would like to purchase trays of eggs and some charcoal to bolster her business. To do so, she and the other members of the group FINANFA are requesting an initial loan from ALIDé. The previous loans were indeed paid back.
