Adidogomé, Togo / Sewing

A loan of $1,000 helped to purchase fabrics to sew clothing.

Adjo's story

A widow and mother of three children, of whom one is in school, Adjo is a clothier by profession and has been in this business since 2000. She has opened a workshop where she serves her customers. Her first loan will be used to stock up on fabrics and 'pagnes' (the colorful cloth of western Africa) for making clothing. In the future, she hopes to establish a shop selling sewing supplies and to fix up her house.
