Sidra Group's story

Sidra is 23 years old and a young and energetic women. She is an educated and well-mannered responsible mother of one son. Her husband is working in a government organization. For a better future for her son, she has been running a part-time business of selling ladies shoes from her house.
As a member of two-person group, Sidra has requested a loan from Kiva’s partner BRAC Pakistan. She wants to open a shop in the market to run her business properly as she is not getting enough customers in her house. She would also purchase new varieties of shoes for her shop and in this way she would expand her business.
With the profit, she would send her son to the best school in town. She is very thankful to Kiva and BRAC Pakistan for helping her.
