Rowena is a 41-year-old married woman from Ubay, Bohol. She has 6 children; the youngest child is 5 months old while the oldest is 21. She engages in farming by growing rice. She has been growing rice for 12 years. With a lack of capital to finance her farm, Rowena requested a loan of 8,000 PHP to buy fertilizers, pesticides and more rice seedlings to improve the harvest. Rowena would like to invest in her business to support her family and also to be able to send her children to school.
