Mulya Sari Group's story

Ni Ketut lives in the village of Berawantangi, west Bali. Ni Ketut is helping her husband, who works as a farmer, get income by running a pig business by her home.

In order to expand her business, Ni Ketut raised capital by way of joining the Mulya Sari group where she was also chosen by the other members as the head of the group and they work together with MUK to get business loans for pig farmers.

With the loan of 1.8M IDR per person, Ni Ketut is planning to buy three piglets with the price of 500,000 IDR each. Although the price of feed is currently very expensive, Ni Ketut expects the eventual sale of the three pigs would later gain a satisfactory profit and can support the education of her child.
