A loan of $325 helped to buy medicines and vaccines for her pigs.

Concepcion's story

Concepcion is 49 years old, married, with five children.

Concepcion is in the agricultural business, raising pigs in the Philippines. Concepcion requested a PHP 13,000 loan through Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation, Inc. (NWTF) to buy medicines and vaccines for her pigs.

Concepcion has been raising pigs for seven years now and has borrowed eight times in the past from NWTF and, more recently, from Kiva to sustain the business. She is working tirelessly toward the attainment of her dream: to save enough money, so she can continue to send her children to college.
