Timoteo's story

Young Timoteo is 19 years old and lives with his aunt. From very young, he has been characterized as a very hard-working person, since with his work he has supported his aunt and his parents. Because of their economic condition, his parents had to ask his aunt for help to raise him. Nowadays, Timoteo is a determined and hard-working man, since at 10 years old he learned to grow corn, beans, and sorghum from seeds, which he continues doing up until now. He also works as a construction worker and sells firewood, since with these diverse jobs he can increase his profits for his sustenance and to be able to economically support his family members. Thanks to his continual struggle, Timoteo has learned diverse trades. He also raises pork and poultry. The loan that he is requesting from Fundación Campo is to buy two small pigs to fatten, compost, fertilizer, and fungicide to grow corn and to pay the rent for the land where he grows corn and beans along with his aunt. In the future he wishes to construct his own home and work more each day.
