A loan of $700 helped to buy all sorts of paper of different colours and sizes and a variety of school utensils.

Lorena Lourdes's story

Lorena is 40 years old, she is a widow and has one son. She lives at home with her mother and her 9 year old son, who studies at school. She was widowed six years ago and since then has fought to raise her son alone. For the past 15 years she runs her own stationery and school supplies store. She buys her stock in a city which is located 77 kilometres away. She travels there by bus once a week. She would like to go twice a week but cannot due to lack of money.

The loan she is requesting from Fundación Campo is to buy all sorts of paper of different colours and sizes and a variety of school utensils. She wants to buy her stock in time as she has high demand for it and often runs out which makes her lose possible income. Her greatest goals are to keep seeing business grow in order to extend it to other areas and to see her son studying at university.
