A loan of $1,100 helped to buy chickens, condiments, oil, limes, etc.

Betty's story

Betty, 38, is married and lives comfortably with her partner and their children, 14 and 17, in their own house. Betty's business is selling grilled meats and chicken. She complements her dishes with refreshing soft drinks. Currently she has one assistant, who is responsible for roasting the chickens. Betty has been in business for nearly eight years and so far things have gone well. She likes it because it allows her to make some income to help her partner out with household expenses. It also lets her stay at home to raise and care for her children, whom she loves very much and wants to bring success. She has plans to expand her business and set up a regional food sales locale in her house.

Betty is seeking a loan for 2800PEN. She hopes, with the contribution, to move ahead with her objectives. She'll use the loan to buy chickens, condiments, oil, limes, charcoal, soft drinks and utensils, which she needs to continue developing the business.
