A loan of $2,250 helped a member to buy a new motor for her refrigerator.

La Inmaculada De Concepcion Group's story

The communal bank "LA INMACULADA DE CONCEPCION" is comprised of six women entrepreneurs who are involved in different sales activities. Victoria, the president of the group, is 60 and married. She runs a store that she set up in her house six years ago. She used to work in hand weaving and taught a class at the Don Bosco Parish. Now she does crafts in her free time.

The loan will be used to buy a new motor for her refrigerator. The group is grateful to KIVA lenders for the loan. Victoria is the first person sitting from the right in a green and white striped top.
