Lucia

A loan of $600 helped to buy cookies, candies, gum, etc.

Lucia's story

43-year-old Lucia is divorced and lives together with her mother and 25-year-old son in her parents' house. Her business is selling sweet treats from a wooden board that she sets up outside the front of her house every day. She sells gum, candies, cookies and chocolate.

Lucia started her business four years ago and, since then, she has managed to gain the respect and loyalty of her customers who are mainly her neighbors. She works alone and works with a lot of optimism because she knows that her work is the only tool she has for obtaining everything she needs. She enjoys her work because it allows her to socialize with her neighbors. She also says that her work allows her to feel productive and make her own money. This makes her happy. Lucia currently has plans to expand her business and open a grocery store in her home.

On this occasion, Lucia is requesting a loan for 1,500 soles. She hopes to receive your support so that she can fulfill her goals. She will use the sum she has requested to buy different brands of cookies, candies, chocolate and gum so that she can continue working.
