Lesvia Cristiana's story

Lesvia is an entrepreneurial young woman of 24. She is a hard worker who has a lot of strength and a great desire to do well and make progress in life. Lesvia is married and has two dependent children who are in elementary school. The family live together under one roof. Lesvia finished Middle School and is grateful to her parents for the enormous amount of support they gave her so that she could achieve this.

Lesvia and her husband have a business raising and selling pigs and a business selling tortillas. They have been running these businesses for 5 years. Their pig business is located behind their home, in a space where they built a small pigpen. The space has water installed for cleaning the pigs. There is also a small wooden crate which holds the pigs' food. Lesvia's customers are people who sell pork at different markets in the area and people who make tamales.

Lesvia is requesting help to buy 8 pigs. This will allow her to increase the number of animals she has so that she can supply people during festive holidays and other times of year when her product is in demand.

Lesvia's dreams are to further expand her pigpen because if she had more space she would be able to keep more animals. This would allow her to contribute more toward her household expenses and help support her children's education so that they can finish school and enjoy a better lifestyle. Lesvia would like to make more income and continue investing in her business.
