Irma is married and has three children: two sons and one daughter. The children are all school age. Irma lives in her own section of her in-laws' home where she has one bedroom and a kitchen. The room walls are brick and the floor is bare planks of wood. The house is located in the Villa Nueva Potosi district, in the city of La Paz.

Irma currently works cleaning offices and houses. She also washes rugs and bed linen. She has a few machines and detergents which she uses in her work. In the evenings, she helps her children with their studies. Irma works every day of the week so that she can pay her bills and provide her children with food, clothing and an education.

Irma needs this loan to buy a floor polisher. This piece of machinery will save her a lot of time in her work. She will get things much cleaner and will be able to charge a little more for her services. This will improve her income and therefore her quality of life.

Irma's dream is to have more machinery available so that she can do a good job and improve her quality of life. This is the first time that she has requested a loan from Impro and Kiva.

Doña Irma es casada y tiene tres hijos dos varones y una mujer que están en etapa escolar, vive en casa de sus suegros donde cuenta con un ambiente y se encuentra el dormitorio y la cocina, la habitación es de ladrillo y el piso de tablones, la casa se encuentra ubicada en la zona Villa Nueva Potosi de la ciudad de La Paz.
Actualmente trabaja en limpieza de oficinas, casas y al lavado de alfombras y camas; tiene pocas maquinarias y detergentes con las que trabaja, por las noches se dedica a ayudar en sus estudios a sus hijos; ella trabaja todos los días de la semana para poder pagar los servicios, alimentación, vestimenta, y educación de sus hijos.
El crédito lo requiere para adquirir una maquina lustradora que le ahorrará mucho tiempo en su trabajo,será mucho más limpio, podrá cobrar un poco más y así poder a mejorar sus ingresos y calidad de vida.
El sueño de Irma es poder contar y tener más maquinaria para realizar un buen trabajo, así mejorar su calidad de vida.
