A loan of $3,000 helped to buy and raise cattle.

Usmon's story

Usmon is 26, married and has one child. He lives with his family in Shahrituz in southwestern Tajikistan. The climate is good for growing crops, and so many of the residents of the area, including Usmon, work in agriculture. Usmon also repairs houses. He wants to start his own business raising livestock, in particular, raising, fattening, and selling cattle. He has a shed for sheltering the cattle and a car for hauling animal feed from the market. Usmon is requesting a loan to buy, raise, and sell cattle.
