Soeurn's Group's story

Soeurn is a 58-year-old rural villager from the Sangke district of Battambang province. She is a widow and has four children who are no longer under her dependency. She has been running her tailoring business for 10 years and is able to earn 23,700 KHR as a current daily average income to support her living expenses. Being with Kiva’s partner VisionFund she can manage to uplift her living conditions in a proper manner better than before and expand her business. Now, she has shortage of working capital to support her business. Therefore, she is applying for a new loan to buy more fabrics for her tailoring business. She hopes to gain more income from her current business.
