A loan of $1,000 helped to buy flour, yeast, oil, eggs, cheese and butter.

Luz Marina's story

Luz is a poor businesswoman and originally from the city of Granada. She is mother to four children and makes a living producing and selling bread and cakes. Luz is very grateful because, thanks to her first loan, she was able to buy the ingredients to make various breads and cakes. Her sales improved and the quality of her cakes has also improved. Luz is proposing opening new avenues for selling her products and gaining more customers. In order to do this, she is applying for a loan to buy flour, yeast, oil, eggs, cheese and butter. She hopes to make improvements to her artisan oven so as to produce more and reduce costs.
