A loan of $525 helped to buy food supplies.

Maria Catalina's story

María Catalina, 48, lives with her husband in her house located in a community in San Lorenzo, in the south of Honduras. For 25 years she has made a living selling food such as shrimp filet, fish filet, "curil" clam cocktail, grilled meat, etc. María's business is located in her house and her customers are friends and people who are walking by.

María's requesting the loan to buy fish, meat, potatoes, yuca, plantains, onion, chili peppers, cabbage, lettuce, etc., to supply her business.

Her clientele has increased and they're requesting a variety of dishes, and this way she'll earn more profit. María plans to take care of her financial need with the help of this loan.

María's dream is to expand her restaurant so that she can serve more customers.
