Marlene's story

Marlene is 27 years old. She's married to Luis, who's a machine operator for a sawmill. She lives with her spouse and her 5-year-old daughter in the house that her parents built. Marlene's business is selling soft drinks and beer of various brands and sizes. She does this in her parents' house, since that's where she set up a small bar in order to serve her customers. She has run this business for over 6 years and it has gradually grown. She enjoys her business because it allows her to stay at home for longer periods of time so that she can look after and take care of her little son, whose living conditions she wishes to improve. She sees how profitable the business is because it's in high demand. She wishes to keep the business going and expand it even more by opening a small store where she can sell other types of products aimed at the same line of work. On this occasion she'll request 1500 soles, and for that reason she counts on your cooperation in order to move forward with her goals.
With the requested amount she'll purchase larger quantities of soft drinks and beer of various brands and types of packaging.
