Jose Oscar

A loan of $275 helped to purchase oil and shock absorbers for his business.

Jose Oscar's story

Thirty-three year-old Jose Oscar is unmarried and lives in his own home in a community in San Lorenzo valley, in southern Honduras.

He earns a living buying and selling construction materials such as bricks and roofing tiles. He carries out this activity once a week. He uses the rest of his time to visit people who are constructing their homes and takes the opportunity to offer them his materials. Jose Oscar has been in this business for 2 years. In his vehicle he drives through all of the neighbourhoods and districts in the city in search of construction sites. His friends and neighbours admire him for his determination.

Jose Oscar is requesting a loan to buy spare parts for his vehicle such as oil and shock-absorbers because he needs to repair it to transport the materials. It is his main work tool.

With the support of this loan Jose Oscar hopes to continue on as always with his work. He hopes to obtain new clients every day. Jose Oscar's dream is to buy a newer vehicle.
