A loan of $850 helped to buy merchandise.

Rosalba's story

Rosalba is 36 years old and is a very young, tenacious, and entrepreneurial woman. She is originally from Monterrey, Nuevo Leon.

Her father, José Antonio and her mother, Maria de los Angeles, came from the city of San Luis Potosí in search of a better life when they were very. Having been established in Monterrey, they had Rosalba and provided her with an education through high school. Because they had many financial problems, Rosalba decided to sell haberdashery from her small stall and help her parents in this way. She later decided to convert a room in her home to a store and now sells paper goods and other merchandise from there.

Rosalba's paper goods store is located across from an elementary school and this has been helpful to the students. She is happy about the service she provides to the community. She needs a loan so she can buy more inventory and increase her income so she can continue helping her family.

Rosalva's dream is to set up a cyber cafe and continue to provide paper goods and haberdashery.

Rosalva is married to Luis Gerardo, who helps her with her business and with their children.
