Elbia Yessenia's story

Elbia, age 38, lives in her house with her husband and her four year old son. She makes and sells candy. Her small business is located in her house, which is where she makes candy from coconut and milk.

Every day after making her product, Elbia goes out in her vehicle to deliver the orders made from the grocery stores. In addition to the grocery stores, she also has all of the school food stands and students in her municipality as customers.

In addition to making the candy, Elbia delivers it by herself. She also sews, and she makes blouses and school uniforms and dresses for women and girls. She has been doing this business activity for four years.

Elbia is requesting to loan to buy sugar, coconuts, sweets, and firewood to make her candy. With the profits and the support from this loan she wishes to get ahead and to continue improving her business.

Elbia’s dream is to grow more in her business and to have more customers.
