Aleida's story

Aleida, 35 years old, is married and has three young children. She lives with her family and father-in-law in her own house and puts in a great effort every day to move her family forward. Aleida's work is selling shoes, clothes and catalogue products. She sells out of her mother's house, where she has display windows and cases to exhibit the products she has for sale. She shares the space with her sister, who has another business. Aleida has been doing this work for eight years and since she began, she has worked alone as she feels more comfortable this way. What Aleida likes about her work is it leaves her time to do other things and she enjoys contact with other people, as she is very sociable. She likes introducing and offering good quality products that are in fashion and in season. As a result she always has customers and, one day, she hopes to have her own, well-established store. On this occasion Aleida is applying for a loan of 3500 Nuevo Soles. She is very grateful for the loan opportunity she is being given and for the financial support, which she needs in ordeer to keep moving forward.

With the loan Aleida will buy shoes, clothes and some accessories such as belts and hairpins to sell.
