A loan of $975 helped to purchase inventory for his used auto parts business.

Jose's story

"My intention is to increase the revenue of my small business to take care of my family," were the words of José upon requesting the loan.

José was born in the city of Matehuala, in the state of San Luís Potosí, in Mexico. At 18 years old, he left his parents to emigrate to Monterrey, Nuevo León, in search of a better future. He arrived in the city to live with some relatives who helped him to get his first job on a farm where he worked as a farmhand for four years. After that, he got a new job as a electrician's assistant, which he did for another four years. During that time, he met Juana María, with whom he got married and had two children. With great effort and the help of his wife, he was able to build their modest little house where they currently live quite humbly.

Time passed, and José realized that his family's needs were greater all the time, so he decided to rent a lot and establish a small business buying and selling used auto parts. However, he has been lacking the business development capital that would enable him to acquire inventory and increase his revenue. So José went looking for an alternative to take out a loan that could help him; he found Credituyo, to whom he feels very grateful for granting him this opportunity.
