A loan of $1,975 helped a member to buy mules wholesale.

Azucenas-32 Group's story

The Azucenas-32 communal bank is made up of eight members, five women and three men. The president of the bank is Ysabel, 24. She's married and has two children, ages 3 and 1. She makes a living selling mules. Her sales stall is in one of the busiest markets in the city of Cochabamba.

This loan is her first sequence with the institution. Ysabel's going to use it to buy mules wholesale to stock her sales stall and increase her working capital. She's requesting this loan to buy merchandise.

The challenge Ysabel faces in her business is competition, because there are several people who sells athletic shoes. She's going to use her profits to improve her quality of life.

She's happy about the support granted and grateful to the institution because this is the only job that allows her to support her family.
