Rohbina's story

Ms. Rohbina is a 34-year-old married woman. She has been successfully running a small general store at the corner of her house in her community for the last ten years. She offers various goods for daily use. She has good communications skills and a good client list. Her husband drives a rickshaw and does not earn enough to support his family by himself. She is the mother of five children and is motivated to provide for her family. As she wants to grow her business, she requested a loan of PKR 30,000 to buy stocks of rice and flour and packs of beverages from the market at low rates. She then would be able to meet increasing demand consistently. She is in her fifth loan cycle and has shown excellent repayment behavior. She wishes to use part of her revenues to deal with personal expenses and part to increase business capital.
