A loan of $3,000 helped to pay for five calves and forage for feeding them.

Nadya's story

Nadya is from Hartashen village, where she lives with her husband and twin sons (who are 12-years-old). Together with her husband, Nadya runs a farm which currently includes 13 cows, a pig, nine piglets and two calves. They also own agricultural land where they cultivate wheat, potatoes and beans. Nadya works hard and runs her farm with great love and pleasure. She does her best to gather a good harvest, and her husband sells it in the local market. To be financially more stable, Nadya would like to enlarge her farm. She has requested this loan to purchase five calves and forage for feeding them. The loan is important for Nadya to expand her farm and get more income, which is very important for covering the family's basic needs.
