Hipolita is a 51-year-old married woman from Ubay, Bohol. She has three grown children. She engages in farming, growing rice. She has been growing rice for 10 years. Her husband is also a farmer. She applied for a loan of 18,000 PHP to buy fertilizer, pesticides and more rice seeds, to increase the volume of her harvest and her sales. In the future, Hipolita would like to expand her business to support her family, and also to improve their standard of living.
