A loan of $1,100 helped to buy staple products to stock up her grocery store.

Rita Elizabeth's story

Rita is 41 years old, married with four children and lives in Esparta Atlántida. Four years ago she decided to set up her own business selling staple products such as rice, beans, sugar, butter, flour and cleaning and hygiene products. She is applying for a third loan, worth 21,000 Lempira, that she will use to stock up the store with everyday food products and to buy clothes to sell. Rita's plan is to expand the business and increase her income.
