A loan of $4,375 helped a member to purchase for breeding.

Cabriquense Group's story

Dina Maribel is 24 years old. She is married and has a young child. She has completed six years of secondary school. She is engaged in breeding poultry, particularly chickens. She started this business with a little capital that her husband gave her. She has three years of experience to date and also has the support of her husband, who works as a mechanic.

She organized a group so she could request a loan that will allow her to purchase four dozen chickens to fatten as well as purchase concentrated feed for them. With time, she wants to have a large, successful farm. The rest of the group members are engaged in raising chickens, selling vegetables, selling traditional clothing, and weaving. One of the group members could not attend the photo session, and this is the reason she does not appear in the photo.

In this group: Dina Maribel, Olga Angelica, Floridalma Rafaela, Brenda Aracely, Modesta Concepcion, Glendy Yadira, Eba Rosario, Nicolaza, Ana Cristina, Julia Elizabet, Amarilis Floridalma, Maria Elena, Marta Florinda, Odilia, Iliana Florentina, Maria Consuelo, Juana Cirila
