Kelita's story

Kelita is 56 years old and married. She has two children who are already adults. She currently lives with her husband, daughter and grandchildren in a house that she owns. Kelita's business consists mainly of growing ornamental plants. She has a space in her house that she uses as a garden for growing several varieties of plants that are used to decorate or embellish botanical gardens or houses. She grows roses, daisies, gardenias, calla lillies and geraniums, among other flowers, and she sells them in small pots. She has been in this business for over five years and she enjoys fulfilling this role. What she likes about her work is watching how beautiful the flowers are because of their variety and their vibrant colors. She hopes to continue growing her plants and to see them become stronger. On this occasion she'll ask for 3500 soles in order to purchase organic compost, seeds and seedlings so that she can expand her gardening area. In addition, she's thankful for the financial support she receives and she pledges to make her repayments in a timely fashion.
