Golden Girls Group's story

Greetings from Zimbabwe! This is 42-year-old Tsitsi from Mutare. She is single with two children, one attending school. She also cares for two dependents. Tsitsi runs a clothing business selling kidswear, handbags, and cosmetics. The business has been in operation for five years. She says the main challenge she faces is the import duty charged at the border posts. Tsitsi has requested a loan of $600 to venture into the timber business. She says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow her to improve general family welfare. In the future, Tsitsi plans to register her own timber company.
