Fighting for a better future? We need your help.

Creating a more equitable world takes a lot of time and energy, but at Kiva we’re in it for the long haul. 100% of money lent on Kiva goes to funding loans. That means we rely on donations from people like you to make this work possible. For a limited time, if you donate $35 or more, a $25 bonus will be added to your account (you’ll get an email once it’s there).

A loan of $3,000 helped to buy cattle for organizing a new business.

Hilola's story

Hilola is a good woman. She is 29 years old, single and lives with her parents. She has always dreamed to start her own business but in the past she had no support and no savings. As Hilola lives in rural Tajikistan she has experience raising cattle and growing crops. After she took the class "Achieve Success" organized by Association of Businesswomen she was able to plan her business on her own. The class provided her with all current information on budgeting and organizing a business, but now Hilola needs money to get started. Hilola plans to raise cattle for resale as her trade and she is requesting a loan of 3000 US dollars to purchase cattle. She awaits your kindness.
