A loan of $1,100 helped to buy fertilizer and insecticides for his farm.

Jimmy's story

Jimmy is a farmer living in Masipi with his wife and children. He plants and harvests rice to sell to traders. He usually makes about 10,000 PHP each harvest twice a year, which goes for food, home expenses, school fees and money for the farm. He would like to improve his harvests but doesn’t have enough money to make those improvements.

Jimmy is now asking for a loan of 45,000 PHP through ASKI to buy fertilizer and insecticides for his farm. He hopes to keep bettering his farming practices and continue making good money for his family.
