A loan of $450 helped to purchase more items to sell such as soft-drinks, canned goods, bread, biscuits, and other groceries.

Flora's story

Flora is 51 years old, widowed, and has four children. With three children currently in school, she works very hard to provide for them. Flora runs a general store in the Philippines. She has been in this business for seven years and sells a variety of items.

Flora requested a PHP 18,000 loan through NWTF to purchase more soft-drinks, canned goods, bread, biscuits, and other groceries to sell in her general store. In the future, she would like to save enough money that she can afford to send her children to school.
