A loan of $825 helped to buy ribbons in different colors and sizes.

María Astrid Del Socorro's story

María is 52 years old. She is a woman who is admired by her neighbors and family because of her courage and her eagerness to get ahead. María has an illness in her bones that stops her from being able to be standing up for long periods. That is why she was unable to keep working. Despite this situation, she didn't give up and she sought an alternative to generate income to support her family. Right now, she makes bows for gift wrapping and pastries, which she sells in different businesses in her community. Her biggest dream is to be able to expand in the locale and become an employment source for her town. Today, she is asking for a loan that she will invest in buying ribbons in different colors and sizes to increase her production capacity and generate a higher sales volume. This will allow her to improve her quality of life.
