A loan of $525 helped to buy cosmetics and perfumes.

Anonymous's story

This borrower lives in Guayaquil. She started out by selling cosmetics to her family. Later, she started to distribute them to her friends in Playas, where she used to live. Now she lives in Guayaquil, and she sells cosmetics to her friends. At times, she also travels to Playas to sell to her family members.

She works on her own, selling scents for men and women, creams, etc. The main difficulty she faces is her health, because as she is a patient who is living with HIV/AIDS, she cannot work as she should. She is not married, and she has an 18 year-old son.

With this loan, she wants to buy cosmetics and perfumes so that she can have more income, because with the floods they had where she lives, the appliances in her house were damaged. This is why she wants to put more effort into her sales.

Her dreams include: being able to enjoy her family, rebuilding her life and looking for someone who will love her as she is, and being able to have a store where she could distribute her products.
