A loan of $825 helped to pay to process his university degree.

Carlos Fernando's story

Carlos Fernando is from the town of El Sauce. He is the father of school-aged children. He studied a career in Tourism, and currently works as the head of Dance and Culture for a private institution that helps low-income children. He has worked there for several years.

He works with patience and dedication because it is his passion to teach dance to those children of different ages who form dance groups that participate in different activities. Above all they dance to folk music that is typical and traditional to Nicaragua.

In his work they require that he has a university degree in order to get a better salary. For that reason, he is asking the Kiva lenders to finance him through Ceprodel to process his degree and have a better social level for him and his family.
