A loan of $400 helped to purchase rice, sugar, beans, sodas, crackers and also fruit, like melon and pineapple.

Tatiana Del's story

Tatiana, who is 38 years old, is a native of León, lives with her partner and is the mother of two children. She works as a retailer. She makes her living selling juices and running a small grocery, which she has owned for over three years. Because of her financial situation, she was only able to complete two years of primary school.
Tatiana started her business with her own capital. She had money saved from her previous business selling tortillas. She later decided to leave that business because it didn't generate much profit. Tatiana then decided to open up her grocery. In the area Tatiania lives, there is no grocery nearby. It was a good opportunity for earning customers to purchase her merchandise.
Tatiana is requesting the loan to purchase rice, sugar, beans, sodas and crackers and also fruit, like melon and pineapple, for making her delicious juices. She thinks that this loan will help her to grow her business. She will be able to purchase more products that she doesn't have in stock and thereby earn a better profit.
