Hugo Apolonio's story

Hugo, a humble inhabitant of León, is 49 years old, married and has a 26-year-old son. Hugo is an independent salesman; he owns a grocery store. He started this business with the help of a friend, who gave him $800. He decided to start his own business selling groceries because he needed to survive and generate his own income. Hugo says that he does well with his store because it is a profitable business that gives him daily profits. This is his first business and his wife supports him and helps him to run it. He receives an additional income working as a manager for a company. One of his goals is to expand his business and generate greater profits.

Hugo is requesting a loan to buy a freezer and supplies such as rice, sugar, beans and oil. With the intention to offer his customers more and fresher products, he believes that this loan will help him to buy all the products he does not have in stock and to satisfy his customers. One of his goals is to pay back this loan so that he can request a new one.
