ABDALLAH, who is in his late 20s, is single with one daughter who goes to school. He has been running two businesses. He sells CDs and DVDs door to door and he is also a broker. He works from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm daily and is able to make a good monthly profit.

This will be his 1st loan from Tujijenge Tanzania, which he wants to use for buying more stock of CDs and DVDs to sell door to door and also to run his broker business. His dream is to one day be able to own a library.

He will share this loan with his loan group "Imani", made up of eleven members who will hold each other accountable for paying back their loans.
