A loan of $2,475 helped a member to buy two superior piglets.

Kertha Bakti Group's story

Ni Luh, head of the group, and all members of Kertha Bakti Group agreed to continue to have loans for businesses. They still need a loan to develop a business, raising pigs. They will stop borrowing until they have enough savings for their own capital.

With full support from her husband, who works as a farmer, Ni Luh will use the loan to buy two superior piglets for IDR 500,000 each. The remainder of the loan will be used to buy feed.

By still keeping the pigs for fattening, Ni Luh hopes there will be an increase in profits. For everyday needs, aside from her husband's income, Ni Luh gets income from her garden and her other business selling religious articles for Hindusm.
